My Ayahuasca Experience - Part II

Many keep asking my Ayahuasca experience … unfortunately, I’ve integrated back into work and life too quickly but overall my transition back home is overall going smoothly. I should have taken more time to my self to write, reflect, rest and sleep.

Plant medicine experiences are beyond what words can express, but Soltara has helped me articulate some of my experience….

• First off, to clarify for many, Ayahuasca is a plant medicine rather than a psychedelic drug.
• Shamanic plant medicine healing works on the emotional, physical, and energetic body, sometimes through somatic experiencing.
• I experienced an ego dissolution; I related to everyone and everything without a solid sense of my self or my own “I”.
• I was able to work with my traumas in a deeper way than I previously have been able to. I could see them at a distance rather than re-enact them.
• I was able to connect with myself more deeply.
• It increased my self-awareness.
• I could look at aspects of myself that I had been repressing.
• I was able to see other/multiple perspectives.
• I connected with my body on new levels.
• I saw the potential I have to improve my life.
• I understood the importance of my physical and emotional well-being in a new light.

I’m still in my “afterglow” that I will strive to continue.  The feelings of overall peace and clarity are just priceless.  I’m committed not to regress back into old patterns or habits and understand and accept that will mean a lot of shift in my life. Excited to continue on with my integration … I’ll keep ya posted
