We will be staying at The Retreat Costa Rica, a world-class, nature-inspired, holistic healing oasis located in Atenas, Alajuela. Just a 40-minute drive from SJO airport, The Retreat sits on a crystal mountain with breathtaking views of the tropical Costa Rican rainforest valley and the Pacific Ocean. The venue offers unique rooms, a Healing Center and Spa, farm-to-table restaurants, saltwater pools, and tranquil jungle and river paths designed to calm the mind and relax the senses.

At our Illumin8 Your Life Retreat, your experience is curated to include a guided crystal quartz mountain hike, rejuvenating yoga classes, a healing sound bath meditation, HypnoBreathwork, transportation to and from the airport, a spa voucher, a group cooking class and three daily meals sourced from 100% organic farms.

This five day, four night stay retreat includes:

three organic, locally sourced meals each day (most grown on the property)

Sound Bowl Healing - a truly beautiful experience. As an ancient technique that existed in several cultures, sound healing is a powerful therapy combining different healing sounds that will take you on a journey of deep meditation to improve your multidimensional frequency and ignite your state of consciousness where all layers of your luminous energy field (body, mind, soul, spirit) are awakened.

Wellness Cooking Class - a fun, hands on experience with a chef from The Retreat learning how to make simple, nutrient dense foods for when you get back home.

60 min massage - in the Vida Mia Ayurvedic Healing Center, an exquisite combination; of head, back, and shoulder massage with reiki focus on your head.

Head massage supports the nervous system by alleviating stress. It also stimulates the lymphatic system, encouraging the elimination of toxins, which improves concentration and relieves migraine pain, relieves chronic neck and shoulder stiffness, while increasing oxygen uptake in tissues and improving circulation.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Discover the unique blueprint of your body and mind. You will start by completing a detailed assessment to gain insight into your natural constitution—your Prakriti. Then, connect one-on-one with an experienced Ayurveda expert for an in-depth consultation, where together, you explore your lifestyle, habits, and health concerns to identify the root causes of any physical or mental imbalances.

From there, you'll receive a customized healing plan designed to restore balance and well-being. This includes personalized Ayurvedic diet recommendations, lifestyle guidelines, therapeutic Panchakarma treatments, and ongoing support through follow-ups.

Deposit: $500 USD (non-refundable) per room is required to secure the space. The remaining balance is required as follows:

160 days prior the arrival (Sept 15): 25% of the grand total of the reservation
120 days prior the arrival (Oct 19): 25% of the grand total of the reservation
90 days prior the arrival (Nov 15): 25% of the grand total of the reservation
60 days prior the arrival (Dec 15): Remaining balance is due

Room Cancellation:

60 days - 31 days prior the arrival date will incur a charge of $390 per room.

30 days to NO SHOW: 100% penalty for total reservation of each cancelled room. Guest cancellation or changes on the room distribution:

*15 days prior the arrival: 100% penalty for the total reservation of each guest cancelled, credit for future stay.

Force Majeure: If for any reason beyond its control, including, but not limited to, strike, labor dispute, accident, act of war, act of God, fire, flood, earthquake, severe weather conditions or other emergency condition, the Hotel is unable to perform its obligations under this Agreement, such non-performance is excused and the Hotel may terminate the Agreement without further liability of any nature, upon return of the Patron’s deposit(s). In no event shall the Hotel be liable for indirect or consequential damages of any nature for any reason whatsoever.
